Greeting Bob: The friendliest of bobs is the "greeting bob". Your iguana will start with an upswing movement of the head, then follow it with several smaller movements. Try doing it back to your iguana (one high bob followed by two shorter bobs) and see if your iguana answers you.

Territorial Bob: The territorial bob comes in a wide range, from mild to severe. The video I inluded is of the strongest type of territorial bob. Most of the time to show their territory the iguana will just repeat a "hello" bob with the addition of a raised body and extended dewlap.

Annoyance And Dismissal Bob: This one looks like a greeting bob without the high initial upswing and the subsequent bobs are faster (and there are more of them). This was a week annoyance bob so I will try to replace it with a better one in the future.
Shudder Bob: According to MKs "Iguanas for Dummies" book, a shudder bob is: "...the big daddy of all bobs. The initial movement is a side-to-side movement of the head as it vibrates, or shakes, rapidly, followed by the upswing and bouncing of other bobs." MK does not give a meaning, but Q does it when he is annoyed with me. On this day I was giving him jowl rubs and stopped.
