This "veg-ionary" is meant to be printed and brought to the store with you. I know how annoying it can be at the store when you don't know what something looks like. How can you shop and read all those confusing signs the store uses? This "veg-ionary" gives names, pictures, and calcium:phosphorus ratios for many of the staple ingredients used in iguana diets. This is not an inclusive list ... just what I could fit on two pages. For more information on other staple vegetables, plus vegetables and fruit which can be used occasionaly or for treats please visit the Iguana Den website and/or the Green Iguana Society food chart and/or The Basking Spot. Information for these pages was obtained from a variety of sources. Most of the pictures were obtained from all-creatures.org which is a strange source for vegetable pictures but they provide a picture gallery for their vegetarian recipes :). Calcium:Phosphorus ratios were obtained mainly from the Iguana Den Diet Page and the food chart on the Green Iguana Society page.
